SAW: Sequential Artists Workshop: Residency May 9-13 2016

I am SO excited! I've been accepted into SAW's Residency Program this summer! Since my father's unexpected death last winter, I've really felt a strong pull back to sequential storytelling and comic art, which has allowed me to share deeply personal stories about my father and my memories of him, in ways that other mediums have not. During my week long residency, I'm looking forward to working with the absolute BEST in alternative and indie comics to better tease out my ideas, voice, and sense of narrative. 

I've always loved the medium of comics and sequential imaging, and I am so excited to have an opportunity to honor that love and passion with the gift of focused time, instruction, and creative energy at SAW.
